John Kooistra, Division Manager
Mr. Kooistra has been heavily involved with fiber-cable project construction for many years now. He has extensive experience in telecommunications cable installation and removal projects. His project background ranges from small jobs to the very large, such as the long-haul fiber-cable project from Omaha, Nebraska to Denver, Colorado. He has supervised crews in downtown New York City, St. Louis, Missouri and small rural areas. He has worked with clients such as Sprint, Michigan Bell, MFS and MCI, as well as several rural telephone companies. Mr. Kooistra is also in charge of securing and managing design/build fiber cable network projects.
Ron Graphenteen, Project Manager
Mr. Graphenteen has been involved with outside plant telecommunications projects throughout the area for over 35 years. Mr. Graphenteen manages and coordinates a wide variety of hourly and contract jobs including General Excavating's work for the Lincoln Electric System. Ron's diverse and experienced background will help ensure General Excavating remains Your "Underground" Partner.
