Scott Fitzgerald, President
Mr. Fitzgerald has been President and co-owner of General Excavating since 1997. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, he started working in the construction industry right out of college as a laborer. His business background led to the positions of Bookkeeper, Office Manager, General Manager, and Vice-President. He served as President of the Cornhusker Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors in 1997, and is highly involved in various economic and social development organizations. Mr. Fitzgerald has greatly contributed to the success and reputation of General Excavating over the years, and is committed to continuing our reputation as a quality, reliable, and responsive contractor into the next century.

Joe D'Amico, Vice-President
Mr. D'Amico is in charge of all operations including estimating and project management. He has helped General Excavating become a leader in the trenchless technology industry. Mr. D'Amico has over 14 years of construction experience and has been with the company since its beginning. As Vice-President and Division Manager, he has experience in all aspects of underground utility installation, communications and construction sales.
