Work Description:
Trench construction and tamping after utility placement. Installation of smoothwall and PVC duct, interduct, primary cable, feeder cable, and conductors. Miscellaneous excavation, backfill, and skidloader projects. Project size ranges from five hundred dollars to several hundred thousand dollars. Work is conducted daily with GE performing on thousands of jobs over the five year history of the Service Agreement.
Method of Construction:
Backhoe, trencher, and directional bore machines used for duct, cable, and conductor placement. Vacuum excavator used for utility locates when beneficial. Backhoe with tamper used for trench compaction.
Benefit to Client:
Convenience. Hourly rates are pre-negotiated and contracting procedures established prior to the need.
