Installation of new duct bank, manholes, and switchgears and cabinets, in conjunction with street widening.

Work Description:
Installation of 2W x 3H x 5-inch duct bank, 6 feet deep, 4000 feet in length to coincide with street widening, Dodge Street, 152nd to 168th. Installation of 13 manholes, with switchgears and cabinets. Intensive schedule coordination with paving contractor.
Method of Construction:
Open cut and install concrete encased duct lines and pre-cast manholes.
Conclusion:
Street widening initiated in 1995. Project completed in September, 1997. The project was completed within the general contractors schedule and budget. It was completed without any accidents or safety problems. |
