Description of Work:
Installation of a storm sewer collection and pumping system to eliminate extensive flooding in a portion of the City.
Method of Construction:
Trench and install, and directional bore portions of 1200 LF of 18-inch force main discharge pipe. Dewatering wells were installed to lower the existing water table. Construction of a 10' x 10' x 25' deep concrete wet well. Installation of three 8-inch pumps, valves, piping and controls. Installation of 1700 LF of storm sewer pipe, 16 storm sewer inlets and rip rap along the outfall area.
