Lowry Engstrom, Project Manager and Estimator
The growth and success of General Excavating can largely be attributed to Mr. Engstrom's extensive knowledge of construction techniques and commitment to doing what is in the best interest of the customer. With General Excavating since its beginning, Mr. Engstrom has been involved at every level of project execution including Laborer, Equipment Operator, Foreman, Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager. Mr. Engstrom's expertise in civil construction projects includes water supply, sewage, drainage, and concrete removal / replacement.

Jim Brunner, Project Manager and Estimator
Mr. Brunner earned a degree in Geological Engineering and is team leader of the site utilities construction department. His education and experience enable Mr. Brunner to manage large-scale projects for General Excavating including a national award winning project for the Lincoln Electric System. Mr. Brunner has experience on Design/Build construction projects and LEED projects. Mr. Brunner's commitment to solving our clients' underground problems will enable General Excavating to continue its growth and presence within the Midwest.

Joe Giesler, Project Manager and Estimator
Mr. Giesler has over twenty five years of field and project management experience in the construction industry. Mr. Giesler's certification and training includes OSHA Excavation and Competent Person, First Aid and CPR, and 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER. Mr. Giesler possesses a wide range of project experience including the installation of underground utilities, building of fiber networks, and the clean-up of hazardous materials. For most of the past decade Mr. Giesler has been managing construction projects in and around Omaha. Joe's diverse background will help ensure General Excavating remains Your "Underground" Partner.
