Description of Work:
Replacement of water main ranging in size from 6" 10". Over 17,000 LF of pipe was replaced throughout the city.
Method of Construction:
All water pipe was replaced by means of trenchless technology. Directional boring was used to install after all existing utilities were located by means of vacuum excavation. This method saved the Village time and money by reducing restoration costs and avoiding road shutdowns.
